SAE will be holding it's very first Jail n' Bail philanthropy event this spring, all proceeds will be benefiting the children's miracle network. This event will give students from SJSU the opportunity to purchase warrants for the arrest of their friends or faculty. On April 29 between the hours of 9am to 5pm, police will go around campus arresting those people who have a warrant set out for. Then they will be put in a Jail in the middle of campus and will not be let go until they are bailed out by their friends or themselves.

Guidelines:
o Warrants, cost min $5, max of ANY
o Can be bought between April 12th -29th
o Bailout costs as much as warrant was bought for
o 9AM-5PM
o If not bailed out by 5, pay half price to get out
o Only arrest people who are on the suspect list to be arrested
o Once arrested, person in jail has to find friends, family, brothers, sisters, or themselves, anyone to bail them out

***We will be tabling starting April 19th at the Alpha Phi Omega tables outside of the student union from 9am-1pm. So, please come out and support let's do it for the kids!***

First and foremost, SAE would like to congratulate and welcome our newest 12 pledges!

A late announcement, but we're glad to have them!

The past months have been exciting for SAE. We would like to thank our Alumni for hosting the Stanford tailgate, participating in our tailgates, and lastly for all their support!

In other news, where would SAE be without community service? In the past weeks SAE has participated in:The Rock n roll marathon, Mothers Awareness
and Light the Night Leukemia Walk (pictures can be seen @ the photos page on the left), but how can we talk about community service without mentioning our philanthropy? SAE will be having our 2nd annual Iron Spartan in November, along with SAEbay. More information will be given in the next few weeks, so be prepared!

Thursday was the beginning of Indoor soccer, and so far we are 1-0. Come support SAE, Games are on Thursdays. Times vary between 730 and 930. Be sure to check out the athletic page for announcements on who we play against in the upcoming weeks.

And lastly, Great job to all the teams on Greek week (go read team!), and congratulations to brother Kris Adams on being Anchorman 2009. That's all for now, the semester is half way through, but SAE is still in throwing it in full force, having fun, and getting things done!

The fall 09' semester is right around the corner, and we all know what that means. New classes, new teachers, and best of all [pause for dramatic effect] ΣAE's Fall rush of 2009!
